Welcome Message

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to cordially welcome you to the 8th International Conference on Ion Exchange (ICIE2022) to be held during 4-7 November 2022, at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan. The first ICIE was held at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo in 1991, then Takamatsu, Kanazawa, Chiba, Melbourne, Okinawa, and Yogyakarta. The ICIE held in the eastern side mainly in Japan and the International Ion Exchange Conference (IEX) held in the western side mainly in UK are held alternately every 4 years as the major international conferences of ion exchange in the world.
The ICIE2022 will provide the opportunity for scientists working in various aspects of ion-exchange researches from around the world to meet and learn from each other, and to foster and enhance collaborative contacts. This scientific forum will comprise plenary lectures, keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations. We hope ICIE2022 will be one of the milestones for further promotion of international research exchanges in science and technology of ion exchange. As you know, Tokyo is a capital of Japan, and Sophia University (Yotsuya Campus) locates in the heart of Tokyo. All the researchers who are interested in ion-exchange are cordially invited.
